Which unit of competency will I receive on my Food Handler Statement of Attainment?

The unit of competency you receive depends on the industry stream you select: SITXFSA005 (Hospitality) or HLTFSE001 (Health and Community).

The unit of competency you'll receive on your Food Handler Statement of Attainment depends on the industry stream you select when enrolling.

Hospitality stream:

  • SITXFSA005 — Use hygienic practices for food safety

Health and Community stream:

  • HLTFSE001 — Follow basic food safety practices

Note: SITXFSA005 supersedes SITXFSA001; HLTFSE001 supersedes HLTFS207C. Both are the most up-to-date units in their respective sectors.
